Your self-esteem will go a long way in ensuring a memorable 2017. The key to your success or failure is your self-esteem. It will help you to know and understand yourself a bit more and to understand others. Having issues with your self-esteem, consider some of these practices to help boost your self-esteem and confidence;
1. You must practice self-acceptance.
Begin to accept who you are. It is not about what other people or society thinks. Accept who you are. Who you are is who you are. You can’t change it. What you can change, change. What you can’t, let it go.
2. Practice living consciously.
This means be present and aware of what goes on around you. Take note of your achievements, what you went through, your contributions and your lessons during the day. This will get you to be a more confident person over time.
3. Practice self-responsibility.
Take charge and full responsibility for your life. Be responsible for everything that concerns you be it health. Nobody is responsible for you.
4. Practice personal integrity.
Every time you don’t live with integrity, you tend to feel worthless yourself, nobody has to tell you because you are not leaving real integrity.
5. Begin to practice leaving purposefully.
Each one of us in this world has a purpose. And your purpose evolves as you go. Your job is to continue doing whatever you were designed to do and in so doing, you become a more confident people.
